Pali
For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with photography. I can recall early memories from my childhood of me tinkering with my dads Yashica D camera and looking at the world through the camera’s lens on it’s ground glass. I have always played with cameras as long as I can remember but I first got into photography seriously when I started a summer job helping a local photographer in 2002. During my time at this job, I helped the photographer lug his setup around the town since he mostly focused on school sports and event photography. Through this experience, I developed a deeper interest in photography and have always kept up with it since then.
I first started photography with digital in 2002 since digital was just making it’s way into mainstream and it was the “cool thing to do”. As I developed more interest in Photography, I came to appreciate the workflow of analog photography and the discipline that comes with it. I mostly shoot analog now and try to stay true to the darkroom practices when digitizing my analog photos.
